Selon ma compréhension, on paie quand la machine virtuelle est démarré et non en fonction de l'exécution, de l'utilisation de l'application. Une image virtuelle correspond au nombre de WebRoles configuré par exemple.

SQL Azure Migration

Le portail codeplex.com commence déjà à regorger de projets innovants et indispensables. L’un des premiers projets à téléchager est : SQL Azure Migration Wizard. Ce projet permet de migrer vos scripts SQL vers un script compatible SQL Azure.

Il ne faut pas oublier que SQL Azure est basé sur SQL Server 2008. Si vous souhaitez migrer des bases de données plus anciennes (SQL 2000 ou 2005), vous devez d’abord migrer votre base vers SQL Server 2008 puis effectuer la migration vers SQL Azure.
