Found some great Azure learning resources for business and technical audiences on MSdev at http://www.msdev.com/Directory/SearchResults.aspx?ProductId=12.

The site also has many valuable learning resources for other Microsoft products and technolgies. If you have not seen the newly revamped site, it is worth a look.

Really cool Azure Services Management Tool.

Description from site: "Includes an MMC SnapIn and Windows PowerShell cmdlets that enable a user to configure and manage several Azure Services including: .NET Access Control Services, and the .NET Workflow Service. These tools can be helpful when developing and testing applications that use Azure Services."

On MSDN at http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/AzureManagementTools

I really missed first Azure User Group meeting as I used to live downtown Bellvue just opposite to Lincoln Center. Love to hear latest things straight from Microsoft HQ

The first Azure User Group meeting for the Seattle area was held last night in a Microsoft conference room with a terrific view on the 27th floor of Lincoln Center in Bellevue. We had 19 in attendance and had a good lively discussion. The speaker was David Pallman, the interest level was high, and the pizza was good. We are all thrilled at the propect of a platform that will relieve us of so many of the obstacles we frequently encounter around deployment, scaleability and infrastructure.
