In this meeting we'll be getting our first look at SQL Azure, Microsoft's cloud-based equivalent to SQL Server. We'll compare and contrast the features, management, performance, and operation cost of SQL Azure in the cloud vs. SQL Server in the enterprise

Our topic is Silverlight Azure applications. In addition to looking at several Silverlight-Azure demo applications we'll build an Azure-hosted Silverlight app from scratch during the meeting. You'll learn how to create Silverlight projects that are Azure-hosted and how to leverage web services to get at other Azure platform services such as cloud storage.
